Our summer 2021 trip began with a flight to Spokane, WA, followed by a drive with the grandparents to Chelan. We stayed at The Riverside Inn. The next day we took the Lady of the Lake Ferry to Stehekin. We checked in to the Swissmont Lodge, played in Lake Chelan and explored around Stehekin Landing. The following day, we rented bikes and rode to Rainbow Falls and the Buckner Orchard. On the way back we stopped at the Bakery and the old schoolhouse. The girls, of course, cooled off in the lake. On our third day, we hiked the Imus Creek Trail, "swam" in the lake, and took the bus to High Bridge where we were able to hike the Agnes Gorge Trail. Grandma and Mel caught a quick glimpse of a bear on the bus ride back. Our final day at North Cascades National Park was spent exploring a bit of the Lakeshore Trail, returning to Chelan via the ferry, and then driving to Cle Elum for more adventures.
