we survived 10 days in wyoming. we had a fabulous time staying at the ferris mansion in Rawlins. this stay was worth the extra $10, much better than the motels in town. we then headed on to jackson, where we stayed for two nights traveling back and forth to grand teton national park. after, we explored the tetons as much as possible with a 2 year old, we headed into yellowstone to set up camp for 3 nights. the temperature dropped by 10-15 degrees but we stayed cozy in our tent! there was no snow at the campground, which disappointed c. a few trails were closed due to "high water" though. old faithful still works, which we witnessed twice (once during a nice hail/sleet mix, and again by chance on a clear day). upon finishing our yellowstone adventure, we headed to thermopolis for a relaxing stay at the elk antler inn. the room was nice, the bathtub had a good leak but after 3 nights at a beautiful campground with only cold w...
