celebrating the end of the school year.  m is done teaching on a cart!!! amusing ourselves outside while c's awake. amusing ourselves with paper mache in the basement stairwell while c sleeps. then we survived a basement/ceiling painting party saturday. flooring begins tomorrow.  stairwell to be finished one step at a time. wishing all mommies a happy mother's day c sends kisses

aaaah, the many faces of little c.  if only we could all keep up with her.  feeling drained.  yes, it's snowing again.  yes, it was 75 yesterday.  yes, it's supposed to be back to the 50s for the weekend and 70 by tuesday.  but we still have several inches of snow in our backyard, again. we also came home to a big mess: drywall crud tracked all through the main walkways of the house.  not sure there was any way to avoid it but not looking forward to scrubbing the floors.  maybe c can be trained... basement is feeling a bit claustrophobic at the moment, but m hopes part of that is coming from the mess.  framing was fun.  drywall is not.  glad we hired out for the yuck.  pictures will be coming (some day).  hoping & praying m's little bro is doing ok.  he lost a dear friend this last weekend.  sad, sad, sad. anyone wonder where c gets her ever changing thought processes from? ooh, look -...
