now that it's fall, i guess i should finish my summer post! our summer was busy and full of fun. we of course went to the renaissance festival, taking the girls with us this year. we stayed close to home and partied with the neighbors on the 4th. c spent a day at horse camp with one of her teachers from the Home School Academy we had a great time at family camp, even if it was a little wet and chilly. we went off-roading and exploring with friends we had tea at a "castle" with grandma d we visited the zoo we went hiking with friends. we went to the state fair, and remembered why we haven't done that in 20 years. we played and relaxed with cousins in minnesota. we took a detour through the badlands and stopped at walldrug and mt rushmore we started a new school year we lost a loved one. gramps will be remembered as a man who loved his family fiercely. he was not afraid to own his ...
