Castle Chronicles

A slightly askew snowman-spider dude measuring the locked door to "figurey" out how to get out enjoying time with m's (stolen/borrowed)camera at bedtime busted rock band with papa and the dog clearance roses and the $ saved by waiting a few days:) the snow is almost gone.  we've enjoyed some warm but windy weather.  we played with friends, inside and outside.  we went on a double date in which we managed to talk about subjects other than the kiddos.  we've resorted to "locking" the little one in when she's uncooperative at bedtime.  (otherwise, she gets into mischief of one kind or another).  we're enjoying clearance candy and flowers from some silly "holiday."  we've made progress on the mini nursery and are beginning (continuing) the countdown with 8 weeks to go. 

we survived a week of true winter.  it began snowing last friday.  by saturday night, we had about 8 inches of snow.  flurries continued throughout the week.  by wednesday, temperatures had dropped to ia cold.  school was cancelled 2 days in a row due to the negative temps.  a box train was made. blankie fights were held.  our shoveling helper was quite helpful. trees were shaken to make it "snow more."
