alligator, birthday and baskets, camera
we've had some really nice spring weather so naturally c and the neighbors decided it was time to pull out the alligator sprinkler (it might have been in the low 70s that day). a wanted to go to a park with swings and water so that she could throw rocks and sticks to make them splash. it was a good day, but we discovered that she didn't like "dirt" pie dessert so m had to come up with a quick plan b cake for the evening. plan b seemed to be a success. birthday festivities were followed by Easter fun. we were supposed to help friends move, but their kids were sick. j still helped but m was instructed to keep our kids far, far away. c was quite disappointed. the Easter egg grab (it was definitely not a hunt) in palmer lake followed by fun at the stage park helped a bit. m had fun playing with her new camera. the 9 year old camera that's had an attitude since being dropped on the way down a 14er last year was dying ...
