both girls are actually asleep (at least for the next 10 minutes), proof that quiet time really can be peaceful.  we don't always need to be cutting doll's hair, drawing on walls or dressers, sneaking around the house naked, "borrowing" mom's wedding ring, etc... apparently clothes are too cumbersome swaddle wraps are a necessary evil bacon cinnamon rolls make everything better hiking with 2 littles is not super fun that face

it's august.  the dog's allergies are back, but we were able to catch them before they got too bad.  they of course started on a weekend.  we discovered a new use for old socks and duct tape.  huan was unable to chew his legs into the nasty state he desired.  m would like to never take the dog to the vet with 2 girls in tow again, ever.  next year, poor huan will just have to put up with wearing very stylish old socks until j can take him!  (honestly, the socks might be a step up from the dreaded cone). the girls continue to grow and share their love for life and their disdain for sleep.  they both sleep quite well when they finally give in, but they have been gifted with the desire and ability to fight it for as long as possible.  why oh why one would rather sleep on the floor on a pile of poky toys or in the dog's bed than in one's own bed is beyond us. arya continues to try to keep up with big sis, but that head of hers i...
