Askershus: Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Dinner, Fake Nails

After a nap for the littlest one, showers and a change of clothes, we headed back to Epcot. Everyone seemed refreshed and ready for more fun until we got to the park. C started complaining that she needed to sit in the front of the stroller (a bit of the boy crying wolf scenario, we thought). We had her drink water and pressed on to a Fastpass for Turtle Talk With Crush. Shortly after the interactive show began, J & C exited rather suddenly. Not sure what else to do the rest of us enjoyed the show, which was hilarious. Unfortunately, C had emptied her stomach just outside the exit. Cast members seemed a little unsure how to deal with the unusual situation while continuously smiling. We had prepaid dinner reservations for a Princess Dinner at Askershus in Norway. We gave C some children's pepto and pressed on the best we could. Although C laid on M's lap most of the night, she still claims meeting all of the princesses was one of her best memories. We think it was a ...

Epcot is huge. Most guide books and tourist blogs recommend 2 full days at Magic Kingdom, but our experience at Epcot left us wondering how on earth anyone can possibly really enjoy a majority of that park in just one day.  We got there right around opening and got through security relatively quickly, met Daisy Duck and walked right onto Spaceship Earth. c thought Daisy was great because she was super soft to hug We headed to our 1st scheduled Fast Pass of the day: The Seas with Nemo & Friends.  However, when we got there, the ride only had a 5 minute wait so we decided to try save the Fast Pass for later.  The ride was essentially the same as The Under the Sea Journey from the Magic Kingdom, except it was not nearly as impressive as it did a lot more with animated screens than animatronics. We exited the ride into a small aquarium, which the girls thought was great. We wandered around for a while before C revealed she had lost her magic band (her...

artsy breakfast, cool drinks, disney springs

We took a day away from the parks to relax and enjoy our resort. We started the morning with a leisurely breakfast --- the girls got their much desired Mickey waffles. A filled up on melon banana bread french toast. yum. cool drinks were very much appreciated after a couple hours at the pool  After drinks, we dried off, headed back to the room, cleaned up and went to Disney Springs. The girls' favorite store  We had dinner at the Raglan Road Irish Pub. C may not have been as interested in Irish Dance as we'd thought she would be, but there's hope for little A.  She was a little disappointed that she missed the chance to go dance on stage. Not too disappointed though. We attempted to go to bed on time with full bellies and a relaxing fun day under our belts.

m-z: magic kingdom round 1

Magic Kingdom Round 1: We had a little better luck catching a bus to the MK (they came and went more frequently).  We still got into the park after opening and we of course had to stop for a few obligatory photos so 30min+ waits had already formed at several popular rides.  the girls were all smiles as we prepped to go see Cinderella's castle naturally, by the time we got to the castle, they were already tired, hot, and hungry. We only had a little time to kill before our 1st scheduled Fast Pass, which meant the 5 min wait for the Mad Tea Party was the winner for our first ride of the day.  After the 1st ride and a snack, we were ready for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Fast Pass.  A was too short so we made good use of the rider switch pass.  Grandpa took A back to the Mad Tea Party, while the rest of us enjoyed C's 1st roller coaster.  It was a hit!  Then we traded, Grandpa took C back for another go on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, while t...
