many wonderful visitors have come and gone. fun times have been enjoyed by all, we think. we've celebrated birthdays for family members from afar and with friends here. we've survived both girls recovering from sad coughs. we're experience little joys like changing 6 diapers in 2 hours (3 of which were blow-outs) while trying to prepare lunch, eat lunch, and convince a 3 year old she still needs some quiet time (she's now asleep, but of course she's not in her bed --- she's with the dog on the couch). sometimes it's just easier to go with the flow. we're treading water as we adjust to life with 2 little ones. we hope to learn to doggy paddle soon. but since we'll be heading out to the midwest in less than 2 weeks, we just hope to stay afloat until we conquer that adventure. (for those interested, we fly into dm on tuesday afternoon, july 1, head to illonois on july 3, returning july 6, and then we leave ia noonish on july 8). hope to see you soon!
