we survived our wonderland tea party. everyone had lots of fun and enjoyed yummy food. m "finished" the alice in wonderland themed paintings and stairwell painting just in time. (there's still touch up work to be done, but it was good enough for the time being).
we then went on to make it through another year at the renaissance festival. more good times were had by all, royalty and peasants alike partook in the annual festivities. we enjoyed a much cooler day, and j replaced his heavy old steel chainmail with a new titanium shirt and full breast plate. in the end, he was just as sore but he played the dashing knight in many a stranger's photo.
